The ByPass Syringe Clear is designed to be a universal blood collection device that accommodates long-neck and short-neck bottles. By it’s design, ByPass may help reduce false positive blood cultures, can help make blood collection easier from existing lines, and help streamline the blood collection process.
Features include VI Velocity Reduction Technology™ with 17G internal conduit designed with the potential to help decrease device-related hemolysis while helping maintain vessel integrity, and an internal conduit VI Sliding Fluid Seal™ that provides waste/contaminate separation from whole blood, which can help improve sample quality.
Versatility and Standarization
The VI ByPass Syringe is a Universal collection device that offers versatility required for collection of various blood specimens. Designed to attach to any hub, extension or needle-free port.
Recessed Rear Hub
The hub creates a micro sterile field for specimen collection and helps prevent contamination according to Aseptic Non-Touch Technique (ANTT).
Manual Syringe Aspiration
The conduit VI Sliding Fluid Seal™ provides waste / contaminate separation from whole blood, shown in our microbial contaminate study to improve sample quality by removing over 99.9% of contaminates.
Vacuum Aspiration Conduit
The internal conduit uses VI Velocity Reduction Technology™, a technology that can help decrease device-related hemolysis while helping maintain vessel integrity.
